The British always want to be different. Driving on the left unlike the rest of the world is not the only difference. We must be careful which way the car comes from so as not to cause an accident. We must also be careful when washing our hands as there are two separate water taps for hot and cold water and the hot water in the hot water tap can be really really hot. But something that can cause major communication breakdown is lack of an adaptor. Hairdryers, chargers, laptops will be dead without this little thing. Adaptors will help you adapt to the different electric system here. The adapter will go in between the end of your charger and the socket in the wall. Don't worry. You can buy it from WH Smith at the airport or in town, at a post office, at a souvenir shop. Just be aware that you may want to charge your phone before you leave home, if you want to be sure you are in touch with friends and family.
